Universität Salzburg (University of Salzburg), or as it is called – Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg – is the most powerful university in Austria with extensive research activities and high training standards. The University is particularly famous in Austria, his law school.
History of Universität Salzburg is calculated from the 17th century, when the Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand II raised him to the status of the Lyceum to the university. In the same year it held its grand opening.
Today, 18,000 students receive education in the University of Salzburg and about 2700 specialists work to ensure high quality training. Almost every third student in the university – a foreigner.
The Universität Salzburg used the latest technologies for education and research activities. Its annual budget – 112.8 million euros.
