Bournemouth University, or Bournemouth University, is a public higher education institution in England, with a history dating back to the founding of Bournemouth Community College in the early 1900s. The University began its modern history in the early 970s when Bournemouth College of Technology was established and new buildings were constructed on the largest farm in Talbot Village. Bournemouth University gained its status and name in 1992.
