A £275m investment in infrastructure has led to the modernisation of the campus and improvement of the educational process. The university has recently become a centre for the development of new technologies in the bio-industry with the opening of the National Horizons Biological Science Centre. Teesside University's modern campus is located in the heart of the cosmopolitan city of Middlesbrough. The University provides a safe and friendly environment so that students can focus on their studies.

Investment of over £275m has transformed and improved the campus to give students an excellent education and a great experience. Teesside University has recently become a hub for the development of new technologies in the UK bio-industry with the opening of the state-of-the-art National Horizons Biological Science Centre. Recent works include modernising the business school, building a new Student Life student centre and a £7m refurbishment of the library.
